The Bawn Close flower bed
In November 2015 the Friends of Bradford Street set to work on the little plot of ground on the corner of Bawn Close that had become badly overgrown with weeds. Bulbs were planted, then this Spring more weeding followed along with the addition of some extra plants and the wooden edging. The plot is now looking much more colourful. Thank you to all who helped out and provided plants.

Street spring clean
April means time for spring cleaning, so some members of the Friends of Bradford Street got their shovels out and had a good clear up around the phone box outside Queen´s Meadow. We loaded seven green bins full of accumulated compostable waste and a number of black sacks of other rubbish. What a difference it made! Where next? Suggestions are welcome.

Historical research
Our website www.bradfordstreet.co.uk has lots of information about the history of our street, but we are busy making a more detailed record of all things historical. If you would like to know more about your house or have some information to share please let us know via the contact us page here.

Pub nights
Most months of the year we meet up at either The Angel in Bradford Street or The White Hart in Bocking End for a bit of neighbourly socialising. If you would like to get involved why not join our mailing list to be kept up to date with all that is going on in Bradford Street.
